Leader: Tim Freimuth
The following men serve as Elders at Bethesda Community Church.
- Rev. Tim Freimuth - Senior Pastor
- Rev. Greg Fightmaster - Pastor of Outreach
- Les Moses - Lay Elder (Prayer Ministry Leader)
First and foremost, elders are Spiritual servants.
Also, per the Scripture, these men are Spiritual leaders of the church, and as led by the Holy Spirit, provide Spiritual oversight of the church, with the intent of being primarily focused on the preaching and teaching of the Word.
Ministries are led by the specific ministry leaders and while the elders do indeed have a responsibility to provide spiritual oversight per Scripture, there is balance. The elders, when led of the Lord, with the intent to not "lord it over them", will work with the ministry leaders for the purpose of strengthening both the leader and the ministry. All for the glory of the Lord and the building of His kingdom!
