Children's Ministry

Directors: Pam Overton and Mary Spaulding

Children's Ministry is a priority at Bethesda.  In Matthew 19:14 Jesus said "Let the little children come to me, do not hinder them, for the Kingdon of Heaven belongs to such as these."

What has been done in the past but is all being reevaluated and planned......

On Sunday Mornings.........

There is a Nursery for newborn to 3 years old during Bible Study and Worship times.

At 9:30 am there are multiple Bible Study groups for preschool age children through 12th grade.

At 10:40 am the children join the Worship Service and participate in Praise and Worship time.   Then, before the weekly Message, parents then have a choice for their children.  They can have them stay in Worship or they can attend one of the following:

Children's Church for 3 year olds - Kindergarten age.

Junior Church for Grades 1 - 5 (available most Sundays).

Grades 6 through 12 (Youth) stay in Worship Service.

On Wednesday Evenings........

There is a pre-school for newborn through Kindergaqrten age.

There is a class for grades 1 through 5.

There is a 'Next Generation' class for grades 6 -12.

Other Opportunities......

There is a yearly Vacation Bible School promoted and scheduled.

Children also have an opportunity to participate in various singing activities, such as children's musicals.

Children also participate in various ministries being led by the adults.  Such as shoeboxes, backpacks, delivering meals, and more....  The idea is to teach children about Jesus and ministry from His Word, and then to show them by active participation.  It is a joy seeing our children involved in various community ministries!

Children workers are regularly scheduled, always needed and blessed, and appreciated!
